Comparative Study of the Quality of Local Search: Google Ranked the Best

Ataxo carried out research on local search results. Google came out as best by a huge margin. On the other hand, there are only small differences among the largest Czech search engines (Seznam, Centrum and Atlas).

Research Results Summary

Based on the evaluation of more than 2.000 local search results, the study concludes that Google provides significantly more relevant results in response to local queries, despite the fact that it does not use Czech grammar. Very few irrelevant search results and the highest proportion of results precisely matching users’ queries were Google’s strong points.
